Principle Investigator
Welcome to the DND Lab Page! I have traditionally worked with landscape changes due to climate change and anthropogenic alteration; however, more recently I have expanded to work with education, crime, history, and sociology problems. I called this lab the DND lab because I love all data types and encourage the students who join the lab to pursue the research questions that excite them. I believe that it isn't just the data we can access but also how we then find interesting answers and communicate what we find back out to the world that is so key in science. Below are the awesome students currently working on things in the lab and their topics range from interesting biology and earth science questions questions about ants and flooding to human centered questions about how information is shared and how we manage waste.
